SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern (Paper 2)

Paper 2 of SSC MTS 2019 will be a descriptive Paper to test the writing skills of a candidate. A candidate has to write a short essay or letter in English or any other Language as mentioned under the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India to clear this examination.

SSC MTS Eligibility Details

SSC MTS Eligibility Details:

Nationality:The candidate must be either: 
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of
permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and
Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18-25 years as on 01-01-2014 (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1989 and not later than 01-01-1996).

SSC MTS Exam Pattern (Paper 1)

Paper 1 of SSC MTS will be conducted online. The dates for the same will be declared soon. Number of questions asked in General Awareness and General English Section has been reduced from 50 to 25. The overall duration of completing the paper has also been reduced from 120 minutes to 90 minutes.

Penalty for wrong answers

0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in Paper-1. Candidates are thus required to attempt every question carefully. There will be no negative marking in Paper-2 of SSC MTS 

Final Selection

The final selection of a candidate through SSC MTS  will be made on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in Paper1 and Paper2. The cumulative score of both these examinations will be taken into consideration for the final selection of candidate through SSC MTS  Exam.
